Hello all,

I stumbled upon BikeForums, and am pleasantly surprised and appreciative of finding out about Clydesdales and Athenas and the forums!

I just picked up a Gary Fisher G2 Wahoo 2.0 and plan to use it for trail riding with the goal of weight loss and cardio.

I am 6'3" and started at 266lbs, The lowest I have hit has been 248..... and hoping to reach low 200s as a goal.

I just wanted to pop in and say HI to everyone who participates in these forums and reading about success stories and people that are working on their own success story!

I am from the niagara region in Ontario, Canada... so if anyone knows any good trails please let me know!!!

so far i've been doing the Bruce Trail from Queenston Heights and Woodend.

Thank you,

Rick

I have been going really slow, learning the bike and the different feelings it gives off on multiple terrains.

I am also making the GF tag along for companionship, she is more hesitant on the trails so its been a good experience and bonding time taking it nice and easy!

I love riding with my fiancee. Whenever we're out together, I always (I mean EVERY time) let her set the pace. Mostly when we're on an MUP I'll ride behind her.
