Nope. I have heard about their new sc's. But not the modified boxxer. Not surprised considering the complaints by some people about the damping. I assume it uses the same damping as the pike?

Yes I know...:)...but sram/rockshox have redone the damping system. I am assuming the new boxxer is going to use this damping otherwise the only thing different is the travel adjust which is really going to be a modified u-turn. The only way this fork would be new is if it had the damping? If it doesn't have that then it is still a low end damping.
In fact I think I read an article on nsmb that there is no new damping, only the travel adjust. Maybe I was wrong and I did hear about it. If thats the case, that sucks. The damping would finally get this fork feeling like a super T ;)

i like it. i have never seen a triple crown that can adjust the travel. i thought the rockshox dh forks were good cuz so many pros have them.

Lots of pros use single pivots. Doesn't make them good. Still an ancient design. Pros use things because
a) they last
b) cheap maint
But unless you are skilled and racing the fork feels like a pile of poo :)...(as do single pivots)
With the new damping system it should be good. The travel adjust doesn't do much to interest me. Marz has done something similar for a while, manitou has SPV....rock shox is playing catch up with the fr DC. Just don't see them catching up in that particular discipline :)
again I am not saying they are bad. But take the cheapest fork. Feels like crap. Need to install new damping, new seals and do some (what I consider) major adjustments to make it feel good. Just isn't worth it to me. Buy it used after someone has finished the ajdustments...saves time and money and since nothing much has changed since 1999 it isn't much of a loss :)

Dorado's are unique and kick ass and light...too bad they cost an arm, leg and the spare hand. ;)
And yes I did forget C: didn't I :D
