We have a double trailer bike by Adams (Canadian co.) we found on craigs list. It makes for a long, and slightly unstable ride (I weigh enough but my wife found the rig to intimidating and unstable.) I saw this picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/kamshots/1382299318/ that shows two kids in a row being towed behind, with two wheels at the end. It appears to be from England. Is this a commercial product? What is it called? I can't seem to find anything searching for double pull behind, double tow bike etc.

Thank you for your help.

Quick googling suggests a Pashley Add-1 is the single seat version and a Pashley U-Plus-2 for the tandem version. Neither are made any longer it seems. I would think the design was suspect because it doesn't look like the back leans into turns, which would make things...interesting when the lead bike *did* lean into turns.

I'd look for something like a Weehoo (http://www.weehooinc.com/Products.html) for the lower center of gravity, but they're only single-seaters. This is an issue we're facing, too--I'm looking at actual tandems. Cheap tandems pop up in my area from time to time, and I'm thinking of getting a tandem and hooking a trail-a-bike to it. It depends on how old/large your kids are.

Thank you. I was wondering why it wasn't more popular. It does seem awkward either way.

Thanks
