A friend is looking to get a road bike and found a used trek 1200 at a lbs for $625. What do you think is this a good price.

Would depend on what year and what condition it is in and how much it was ridden.

its an 02 or 03 in good shape dosent look like it has to many miles on it

I would say no. I seen 2004s for 750 dollars at one of the local lbs. I know if I were to try and work hard on getting one. I could get a 2004 for just under 700. So I say forget the used bike look at your local LBS. Bikes are like cars when the new models come out they will cut the prices on the 2004. Just keep going to the LBS until you find just what you want and when the price hit's the number your willing to pay. Good luck!! And good shopping!!!
