I have standard OEM downtube cable adjusters on my Santana S&S tandems. The issue I've never been able to figure out is how to fully remove my handlebars for easier packing without messing up my cable adjustments.
In other words, I can detach my handlebars easily enough and have them kind of loose in the case, but I cannot totally remove them (to put in a different case, for example), without having to totally unscrew the cable adjuster from the brazed-on, slotted stops. Of course, when I do this, I have to readjust everything.
I could go with in-line cable adjusters like DaVinci's INCAs, I guess, but kind of like the type that thread into the stops.
Does anyone know of good-quality, slotted cable adjusters?
