Could an earthquake cross the border Wheels?

We live in Eastern Arizona and my son said the streetlights were moving in front of the business where he worked. The seismic waves had a green card with them.

Ho Hum, the April 4 quake was my first seismic experience.
I live approx 100 miles southeast of the Mexicali quake area that has been having daily aftershock activity past 2 weeks.
We were celebrating a friends' birthday here on the Punta Banda peninsula, south side of Ensenada. Dinner table started rumbling and chandelier started swaying a few inches. Luckily, the quake had little impact here.
We had just finished the bottle of Earthquake Zin in photo. I'm not a zin fan, but, this one was smooth. :D We all signed the bottle and one of our winos sent it to the winery for their archives.

I've never experienced a big earthquake. I was working nightshift on the telemetry unit up in Albuquerque and something jolted the place and we all looked at each other and shrugged. We later found out it had been a small quake. I thought the videos of the swimming pools from the quake were interesting:

I remember growing up in the LA sprawl from the '94 Northridge quake that the news helicopter crews commented on the dust coming off of the mountains.
