hey everyone
I have an 03 stinky and the rear shock is a 7.785 x 2.0. If i got a 7.785 x 2.25, would it mess up the suspension a whole lot? I could see it messing it up if i had the 2.25 now and got the 2.0 but i cant see there being a problem if i get a shock which has more travel, but im not completly positive. i think that it may result in the tire hitting the seat tube but i dont know everything. thanks a lot everyone.

I'm not totally sure. But I've heard that some companies will drop the warantee if you change the stroke lenght in the rear shock. Probably not true. But it's something to check out before purchasing. Do your research.

Call kona some companies don't mind and some do. They will tell you exactly what it will do.

It will add about an inch to your travel. If you are worried about warranty then call Kona to find out. Other then that it will work.
