Electric Bikes - need info about a hub kit i ordered

its 24v 250 watt 26" kit. well i have two 12v 12ah batteries and want to get an estimate of what kind of runtime and speed i will be seeing, if possible. thanks.

24v with (most likely) SLA batteries- 14-15mph maybe?

You have 288 wH of energy. SLA might really get 2/3 of that. Figure 20ish wH per mile no pedaling at max speed.

and yes thay are sla batteries

If you like the bike, might try some lithium batteries later or upgrading. That's a good starter bike. The more expensive hub motors probably have more durable rims and spokes. I don't own any of the e-bay hub motors so I have nothing to compare the one I have so I don't really know but I'm just guessing. I have a crystalyte 5303 and a forsen hub motor.

I would guess about 14 mph on flat ground with a full battery and about 9-10 miles of run time. (weight also a factor so plus or minus a little here or there)

Thanks for the replies. I think it will be good enough for now, just wanted something to cruise around the neighborhood. My main hobby is rc cars.
