I have a 2006 conquest pro and love it. It gets commuting duty now and will be my cx racer in the winter.

my brother rides a an '09 conquest pro. loves it. he rides it on the road with slicks too.
i've ridden it a few times, it was nice. i like the sram double tap too.

Just hit some fire roads in bad condition, riverbed and single track this AM. Sweet mother that was fun on a cross bike!

Thanks for the input. I ordered a Conquest Pro. Got a pretty good deal. Redline has them on clearance.

An LBS has an'08 Conquest Pro for $1299. Doesn't seem THAT great a deal, eh? MSRP was $1599.. f
It seems liek this bike has a longer top tube than most. Is that accurate? I'm looking for bikes with short top tubes unfortunately

My older version is 54 seat tube and 54 top tube.
