hello all and thanks for your help in advance

After a hard Workout, I can feel my heart beat in my ears or you could say my head. As I go to check the pulse, I dont have to do anything but stay still and I can count just by sitting there. Just wanted to see if that was normal, Im guessing that my heart rate at the time I just finished the workout was 175.

Ive had a Dye tracer stress test (treadmill) and my cardiolite was fine. Age 31 male.

Just was thinking about that hard pounding of my heart in my ears and head.

Thanks

The same thing happens to me occassionally. I don't know exactly what causes it or when it is likely to happen. It almost seems like I can hear the blood rushing in my ears. It doesn't seem like it coincides with any other physiological event, so I never worry about it.

The carotid artery runs right in front of the ear. If you're BP is up with racing and you're hot to dilate the artery, you will hear it temporarily.
