I've always been a huge fan of Dave Barry. I think this article is hilarious although he didn't seem as flippant as he could have been or normally is so it's a little disappointing. The only thing is, his impression is pretty accurate for anyone who is unfamiliar with track cycling. I've had to explain the tactics to quite a few people. Lately, I've been pointing people to the BBC Sports webpage on sprint cycling (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sportacademy/hi/sa/special_events/cycling/newsid_3586000/3586121.stm).
Indoor cycling: It's a learning experience (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/living/columnists/dave_barry/9487331.htm).
"They are going very slow! They are hardly moving! Wait! Ohmygod! Now they are going even slower! I have never seen such slowness. This is so tactical I may wet myself!''
