Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Double posting with Safari and Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard issue

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just upgraded to Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and, at the same time, switched to Safari as my default browser. Now when I post messages, the post button seems to be activated twice: my post is added to the thread, but I also get an error message indicating that I must wait at least 30 seconds before posting again.
It's an annoyance, not a major problem, but I was wondering whether anyone else has run into it.

Aha! The problem occurs only when I use the "Reply With Quote" button below a post and then Post Quick Reply. Any suggestions?

We're still trying to find the coding issue.

Happens to me all the time. I just hit the space bar to scroll down and see if my post made it into the thread -- and it successfully posts probably every time.
