I've inherited an old Peugeot fixed gear and I don't have much use for it, so I'm trying to decide if I should sell it. Problem is -- I have no clue how much it's worth. If you could help me out, I'd appreciate it. Some pictures below. Campy Record cranks; Phil Wood hubs; the paint is a little dirty, but the frame is physically in good shape. That's all I know. Thanks!

Interesting find. I dont think its really a Peugeot. I think its been repainted to look like a Peugeot. Still a great looking bike with some good parts. I think you might get $500 for it.

I see no reason to think its not a Peugeot. Its a very, very rare bike.
Holy cow! This is not "fixed". It's a track bike... with 531 tubes (and fork) and a Record crank. I would suggest the following:
- get rid of the pump clip
- get rid of the brake and lever
- get rid of the bell
- replace the stem with a track stem (those point downwards)
- get a more appropriate vintage rear wheel (that will cost some $ and I cannot see the front hub)
- get smaller tires
- clean it up nicely (but keep the 531 triangle sticker residue on the fork)
and put it on ebay.
Four figures are not out of your reach...
Or, alternatively, and maybe a better idea, since it will require no investment:
-strip the bike and sell the frameset and crank on ebay (that would be four figures as well) and sell the other components on CL
+1 this is a rare rare bike and someone is willing to pay for it. Ebay is the place to sell this.

I saw one just like it, sell on ebay about 10 years ago, in white. If it's real, someone might drop 1 or 2K on it without blinking. Rare and desireable.

It is real. Look at the state of the 531 stickers on the ST and on the fork. Those were original, not some late addition...
