Hi,

I know this is rather an unusual request, but wanted to see if there is anyone out there that would be able to help me. Finally, I have all my rims, hubs and spokes in hand but other than a spoke wrench, I have no tools. I'm hoping someone would lend or rent their truing stand, tension meter, dishing gauge so I can build my wheels.

I'd be willing to accommodate your suggestions/ideas on how to do this, including letting you keep one of my bikes until I returned your tools.

Thanks in advance,
Ihsan

I built 3 wheels on the bikes they would be mounted, using sheldon brown instructions. I used colored electrical tape to keep track of which spokes were which based on SB illustrations. A real truing stand would probably speed things up, you could buy one and resell it.
