Hi
I joined the forum just yesterday (spent 4 hours reading posts) and was glad to see others in the same boat as me. I am 55 years old and 310 lbs.
Obviously, one of my goals is to lose wieght, but simple transportation when RVing is also a main objective.
I have tried walking, and enjoy walking, but my knees wont alow me to walk more than about 3 miles at a time.
I came very close to buying one of the $59 Walmart bikes last week, figuring that $50 would be no great lose if it didnt work out. Heck, just spent $54 on a meal for 2 yesterday and my digestive system has already taken care of that..LOL
I have learned from reading this forum that I should visit a Bike shop and get a real bike with real service.
thanks guys.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
