Well the Houston to Austin bunch had their turn and now it's ours. I figured I start a thread for the BF members who are riding next weekend.

My team didn't want to spend the extra $$ on a kit, so I'll be the guy in a normal jersey and shorts riding a black 09 CAAD9.

Anyone else riding?

I'm going to give it a try. Also no kit, most likely on a white Six13. Last year Day #2 was cancelled, so we'll see how things turn out this year.

Just checked the weather and feeling less than optimistic about Day #1 this year

Just in the morning, and only on Saturday. Looks like 40% chance of storms, if we're lucky we can either have no rain, or hopefully the storm will arrive in the north after we've moved far enough south. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :) Last year's weather wasn't much better ... Day #2 got cancelled, and Day #1 had massive storms, same day that the roof was torn off from the Dallas Cowboys training facility I believe.

Things don't look too good. Up to 80% as of now. Hopefully the front passes early Friday night and we can ride Saturday morning.

I was one of the few who finished day 1 after the storm started last year. I was at the last rest stop and took off with a bunch of ride marshals after I heard the warning to SAG in. After riding through the torrential downpour, I can firmly say if it's raining Saturday I will not be riding.

Thankfully the weather looks wonderful Sunday. So hopefully the MS society won't can the entire weekend.

To all of you who are riding this morning, good luck, be safe, and have fun. Looks like the storm on the radar at the moment will blow through, but scattered rain is predicted for the day. Have fun.
Like my wife says,"as long as you are rolling, you're at least a moving target" Now that's funny,
