Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Rossin worth $400?

A Rossin road bike with columbus tubing popped up on my local craigslist.

Yes. It looks like it has a full Sante Group, which by itself is worth a lot of money. A smart move would be to strip the Sante Group and replace it with an 8 speed 6400 with STIs for about the same (or less) cost.

for $400 I would be on his doorstep at 7:30. he doesn't say much about the components but they look like Sante. looks like a great deal to me good luck

I'm meeting the guy at 6:30... got a bit more on the story behind the bike... it was present from his old girl friend in 2004 she paid $840. They rode together for 300 miles and broke up. He hasn't ridden it much since. Said he would take $350 tonight or $300 if he can borrow my tandem a couple time this summer.

If it looks good... I'm jumping on it... just have to deal with my fiance... we work on a one in one out policy and I can't have more than 16 bikes.

Get something else out then :)

at $350 this is a screaming deal.
