I would like to start racing my road bike. I am 27 years old, so I think I am too old for amature. Should I join a team? (how would I do that) or should I just get licence, register, and start on a cat. 5 without a team?--I train without a group and I am well educated about diet and have read training books--but I can not readily find communication on getting started and racing etiquette. I would like some feed back from people with experience in this field, no pun intended. ;)
