I found out about this event from a friend on mine. I am not a race, but it should be cool to check it out Sunday morning.

Damn, too bad we're doing the shiner 100 the day before. I'd be all over that otherwise. Gotta get out of cat 12.

I rode the Shiner 100 and attended the crit race at Sugarland. Boy oh boy do those guys move. Some hellacious speed was on display. I was surprised there were not more spectators, the racing was fantastic.

I had wanted to go, but my left knee was sore from the Shiner ride and I could not get out of bed. I had a friend ride in the Cat4/5 race. The short 1 mile track should have been great to catch the racing action.

I was really looking forward to this as I've been the past 2 years, unfortunately our new baby girl had other plans for me when she decided to come on Thursday afternoon.
But don't worry, we already watched our first bike race together on TV. :)
