Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Paypal and subscription issues. Dissatisfied.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have been a premium member. My subscription was due for renewal. Paypal emailed me and said the payment had been started but you can cancel a subscription within 24 hours (I was not interested in continuing my membership mostly because I didn't have 25 bucks to spare)

I canceled the subscription but 3 days later got a notice that the "echeck payment had cleared" or something like that. I tried emailing the listed email account on the paypal details, but got a non-deliverable report saying the email address is not valid.

Customer Service Email: awijaya@internetbrands.com

So this is the message I tried to send:

Hello,

I was notified that my subscription renewal would be coming up, I was no longer interested in having the premium service your site offers (the site is great, but I only purchased it to post some bikes I had for sale, I still use and love the site and am happy with the ad-supported version) so I canceled the subscription per paypal's recommendation and instructions. 3 days later, it says my 25 dollar eCheck has cleared.

Would you be so kind as to refund this for me? I support your site 100 percent I just can't really afford the extra item on my budget right now.

I appreciate your time.

Also, I was charged 25 dollars for a one year membership... it now seems that that only costs 12 dollars, but I'm being charged more than double that?

I'll forward this to the appropriate people.

Cool, and they'll address this very soon, I'm sure. feel free to contact me directly if not, though, via PM or Email. We'll get it resolved.

Thanks for being so quick. I really appreciate it. I know it's just a bug in the system and that paypal isn't the easiest when dealing with subscriptions. You can't re-price them without ending all of them, yadda yadda.
