I have the speedplay frogs and the directions suggest regular greasing through an injection port on the side. My problem is that when i put the grease in it just seems to shoot right back out without ever getting in the pedal. I've tried using a regular grease gun as well as a 5mL syringe with an 18g needle. Neither seem to successful
Any suggestions?
I don't have speedplays, but on my egg beaters there is a special adapter that came with the pedals. The axel cover unscrews and is replaced by the adapter which allows you to squirt grease into the axels. The old grease comes out the other end, near the connection with the crank. I bet there is something similar on the speedplays.

Go to an auto parts store and get the right nozzle adapter for your grease gun, or just order the grease gun Speedplay sells for $20.
