There was a time when for me this subject was anathema, but today I would submit these for approval

favorite two are pearl jam's version of "you've got to hide your love away"
joe cocker's version of "with a little help from my friends."
if i gotta pick one, i take joe cocker.
i do enjoy the siouxsie "dear prudence" too tho', it's my third fave.
Yes - "Every Little Thing" off the 1st Yes album (1969). I actually prefer this to the Beatles version, it's bouncy it's light and the mood of the song fits the lyrics better. Btw don't go look for this on You Tube, all the versions are terrible.
Earth Wind and Fire's Got To Get You Into My Life.
Which was the only redeeming thing to come out of the trainwreck that was the movie version of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Steve Earle - I'm Looking Through You (the studio version on Train A'Comin' is where it's at but this is a good take):
Steve Hillage did It's All Too Much kinda how George had it but more:

I was only like 3 when this happened but it seems like it had to have been an explicit Beatles reference:
