Bbeck, Have you managed to stay dry? I've seen some amazing/discouraging footage of Nashville. We seem to have annual flooding in our states and I've seen what can happen in large scale floods.
Hope the best for you.

dbikingman,
there are a lot that are not dry at moment here (I am clarksville based and work in nashville - both have areas under water and around). Its gonna take a lot of time to recover but for now it helps that it is beautiful riding weather (I couldnt make it to work had to turn around as the roads were submerged with the rivers still rising and didnt want to be trapped) and I got to get out for a nice 20 mile ride yesterday instead of being stuck in a windowless room (why is it the dont give computer guys windows...oh wait I know they dont want computers flying out of windows *LOL*)

Waters are starting to go down now here in Nashville. But now the insane amount of mud that has to be cleaned up and the houses that have to be either rebuilt from the inside or completely torn down is starting to become apparent. There are a few communities still without potable water and some are still cut off from the rest of the outside world. Right now they are relying on water drop offs by helicopter.

Is that the country music hall of fame in the background?

Man, the weather down there makes me feel bad for complaining about a little snow and wind.

LOL yeah my home computer has a window and a light (complete with light switch on front) but sadly my work machine does not. Something about looking professional *sigh*
