Mountain Biking - chain rattle

Greetings,
I'm looking for ways to give my bike a more solid feel. I tightened the tension on the brake levers to minimise vibrations and I've got bushings on my cables to keep them from rattling on the frame etc. I've got a lizard skin on my chain stay as well but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to eliminate chain noise? Is there perhaps a cog device you could add that would lift the chain close into the stay or something? Know what I mean? Any ideas out there?
Thanks

Noise is noise. You want a stealth ride? Ride a road bike on a nice flat stretch of pavement. There is only so much you can do to eliminate it. I've got a wrapped piece of inner tube around my chain stay to stop chain slap. But that was also done to protect the stay from getting chipped up by the chain as well. Careful about that solid feel to everything. What happens to something that has no give when it hits something? Either one of two things the object it hit breaks or worse <insert your component of choice> breaks. I keep certain components snug enough to hold it there but not tight like my brake levers and shifter pod. So if I hit something they give and move on the bars. Beats having to buy new parts. There are other chain tensioners out there, however there is such a thing as overkill. Beside when you are rattling along at 30kph on a downhill it doesn't hurt to make a little noise.

I agree with stiffee shane. Only tighten your shifters and brake levers to snug them up, but loose enough so they rotate in the event of a fall. This will prevent further damage. WHY? Because if you fall, and your brake lever for example gets hit. If it's loose it'll rotate. If it's so tight it can't move, it'll snap!
Also, These help take up the slack: http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/11167-075_KORCR8-3-Parts-53-Chains/Chain-Guides/Kore-Chain-Reactor.htm
But something more like this will keep your chain from dropping:http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/13018-075_MRPLR4-3-Parts-53-Chains/Chain-Guides/MRP-Long-Range-Patrol-Chain-Guide.htm
I also like the Evil DRS system and the Black Spire of the three, the MRP is supposedly the quieter one since the roller is a softer material. BUT, all three are noisy!
