hello to all! I am 52 years, have been seen on a bike for the last 48 years. 98% of my daily commuting is by bike. I also use it for holidays, shopping and recreational rides with my wife, who also ride her bike to work.
Having had only one bike for many years, I figured out the advantages of a dedicated winter bike.
Now, I am the lucky owner of a Kinesis "summer" bike http://www.kinesisbikes.co.uk/bikedetail.php?id=151, a workhorse winter bike, a singlespeed http://www.cyclofiend.com/ssg/2007/ssg077svenfelsby-0407.html and parts for a racer being assembled in my friendīs shop!
Having 8km to work, the bike is just as fast as the car, and much more fun. You also find out that you lead by example - my kids ride their bikes a lot!
