...but I won't stop now.

I just purchased a pair of bib-style cycling shorts. I now own lycra. I'm riding a century in a week and a half, so that's my excuse/rationalization. I hate myself.

(But damn, do I look fine in lycra! It's a wonder what tight fabric will do for an average physique. I look like a damn athlete with this thing on! All the bulgy parts are held tight, and there's nothing left to show but muscle.)

I beg to differ...I've seen evidence to the contrary. Now cycling in a kilt--you're guaranteed to look hott.

As long as you wear your bib shorts under something else, your not gonna get the hate.

Hey stud, if only muslces show, you can always stuff it. We won't tell. I recommend a gord or a pumpkin or some such autumn harvest veggie.

I really want a kilt. For the winter riding. "Freedom!"

Bikku, you wouldn't have to worry about accidentally sitting on something if you did that. The boys would crawl right into your body cavity.

LOL

I think I saw a pic of a messer wearing a kilt somewhere... with bibs underneath.

There's a guy who works at a LBS here that I've seen wearing a leather one with pockets on many occasions...

Even a guy on a bike (http://utilikilt.com/photogall/gal01/skip.jpg) in there (it's geared, though).

those are sweet. i know a guy around here that has one. too bad they're so expensive, and it doesn't look like they make one small enough to fit my skinny ass, anyway...
