I've been in discussion with a seller regarding the bike pictured below. It is a lovely looking bike, and priced at more than I had hoped ($550). Perhaps it is just out for my range, but I'd like to get the benefit of the crowd's opinion. This is a bike that I really like, I trust the seller maintained it nicely, and it is my size.

What do you think would be a fair price?

I'm not an expert, but I am sure someone will chime in soon. I'd venture to say that it is a fair market price, but not a super bargain.

Too much with the bits on it and that size (60cm?). At $550 expect at least Campy NR components. Looks like a '76. The $550 is in International territory.

E - What do you think would be a fair price? I should also mention the bike no longer has that Ti Brooks on it, though the seller mentioned he put the original Brooks back on it.

$350ish for Boston. Those Huret Jubilee bits (IMNSHO) are not that great.

+1 Given large size and components, $350 was what I was thinking as well.

Huret Jubilee bits bring good money on ebay... I would prefer it over the competition GS any day. The rear derailleur alone can sell for $100.00.

Like I said in the other Competition value thread, Competitions fetch more money that you would think. $550.00 is more than I would personally pay but I know they can sell for that, especially in a market like Boston.
