The annual Around the Bay in a Day for the Smith Family is one of the world's biggest and most popular cycling participation events. With a choice of five ride distances (50km, 80km School Challenge, 100km, 210km or 250km) 'Around the Bay' offers a challenge for riders of all abilities on some of the most scenic locations around Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

The team regularly takes part in the annual Around the Bay in a Day for the Smith Family

The event is a charity challenge and raises money for the education of disadvantage children with the aim of keeping them in the education system to break the cycle. No money goes to the charity from the event entry fee all monies raised are via rider sponsorship and donations.
TeamMONASH is the largest community team and in addition has been the highest University fundraiser over the last several years.
