My rigid 29er turned out to make a very fun fixed gear (currently rollin' tiny gears and 2.2" tires - good like getting those on a track or fixed gear freestyle frame). I have a feeling this will be a lot of fun to cruise on, whether the aesthetics are to your liking or not.

I like the disc brake.
That is all

i would ride the **** out of that bike. I mean, i would PUNISH that thing to hell and back. so cool. i would probably do the same with a rigid 29er though, and still have discs front and rear and tire clearance for trail rides... but this thing is cool.

how much? because i would way rather have a Unit. but if this thing is 500 or so, i'd rock it.

I'm agreeing with Vixtor; I see a lot of kids riding their bmx bikes all over town. That Urbino is just a bigger, more comfortable, more practical version of their beloved bmx bike.

Instead of BM(FIX), I'll throw out FMX.

AH! That's the "proper" term for it...700cmx...
I still like my BMX to do tricks, not that I do a whole lot but still.
Grinding with your full sized fixed gear seem a bit dumb to me.

Wouldn't 700CFS make more sense? I mean, it we are talking freestyle here, not bicycle motocross.

Not sure it needs a special name. I've seen footage from the run of the 20th century showing that freestyle type riding was being done on fixed gear bikes, long before there was a BMX for it to be an offshoot of.

I liked everything about it minus the BMX style stem and the isis cranks at first. Although disc brake out of the box and the crowd it aims for, they hit the nail on the head. And the more I see it, the more I like it.
Redline is pretty good with value right out of the box

I would ride one.
And as for 29er fixed, I converted my redline 29er to fixed and it's a lot of fun. But like the first time I rode it, "this rides like a big BMX"

I was thinking about dropping the cash on the urbis. I may be partial to this ride after riding BMX all my life.
