I just recieved my DealExtreme.com camcorder. I was able to work through the poorly translated instruction and was able to record. However I wasn't able to get anything on the CD to install or work. I'm thinking that's how you set the clock / calender.
Does anyone have experience with these and know how to set the clock? Do they have an english language version of the software?
The camera looks like it's going to work just fine. And for $20, you can't beat it.

Ah. Well, pretty much, you turn off the VOX switch unless you want voice operated, you turn on the power, then hold the button on top, I think a 1 second press to start it recording (the light will blink IIRC), then another press to stop it. I don't know where mine is right now, but that's basically it. I never really read the instruction sheet, I just figure it out every time I pick it up again. I only bought it for putting on kites so I don't use it that often.

Do you know how to set the clock?
Do you know how to set the clock?I've got the Veho Muvi version that looks identical but is likely different internally, so I may be wrong, but ...
... but mine has no way to set the clock. Your movie files just say Dec 1 2000 and that's that. Not a big deal.
