I've being enjoying our rather cool summer and stealth camping in my Hennessey hammock. While I am not using a sleeping bag and heat reflector, I used a self inflating ground sheet in the hammock with no trouble.
This weekend I travelled up north to Huntsville, ON to camp in the bush. Saturday was lovely but the nights were cool (around 5-8 C). I brought my two season bag and I was warm enough but had issues with the bag getting in the way of the velcro sealed opening. Luckily it was late in the season and the mosquitos were few.
I need to know from seasoned Hennessey users how they stay warm in their hammocks. I've been using one of those silver reflector pads, wearing fleece top and bottom and using the sleeping bag when it is cool enough to be required.
Is their a better way?
