Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - "Quick Links | Subscribed Threads" isn't available from the "New Posts" list

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I generally read the boards with the "New Posts" list. When I'm done, I often like to check my subscribed threads to see if there have been any updates. Unfortunately, the only link I've found to my subscriptions is under the "Quick Links" menu drop-down, and that menu isn't available from the "New Posts" list.

It's in your User CP though isn't it? That's a reasonable place to put it and you don't generally deal with it every day. You are also able to cancel the subscriptions if you receive email summaries (it's linked at the bottom of the message).

Go to settings, it'll take you right to your subscribed threads, etc.

Clicking on Settings to go to my User CP page only shows me "Subscribed Threads with New Posts". But, sometimes posts get marked as "read" simply by virtue of how old the latest post was. (for instance, this very thread did not show up as having new posts when I viewed my subscriptions, but I noticed that I was no longer the last person to post to the thread so I knew there were updates to it)
It seems strange that the "Quick Links" menu shows up just about everywhere EXCEPT the New Posts list.

And while clicking "Quick Links" and then "Subscriptions" is the same number of clicks as clicking "Settings" and then "Subscriptions", it's not the same number of *page loads*. When going through my User CP, I have to wait for the CP to load before clicking "Subscriptions", and then wait for the subscriptions to load.
Extra time and bandwidth for me, and twice the load and bandwidth for the BF servers.
