Hi there,i own and ride a surly steam roller with shimano exage/pake chain ring 46t and kmc Z710 chain for these past few months without any problem but its just recently that theres a loud creaking noise from the chain and when i turn the bike upside down,i notice that the chain are wobbling.Its started bugging me,is it just chain or the crank?or the cog?cog are 17t soma cog.Thankz in advance

It could be a number of things. I doubt it's the cogs though or the chain. You probably have a loose crank arm or a bent spindle.

Remove the chain and spin the crank to see if the chainring runs true or is bent.
