I've got some old SRAM Rival road brake/shifter levers, and I'd like to run them as brake levers for my single speed 'cross bike. Will I run into any issues with stopping power or anything?

Shouldn't. Lot's of cross bikes are spec'd with Sram and canti brakes these days

my bike is all sram rival and i have kore canti brakes ... works awesome!
