I was looking to but a new bike, it's been about 16 years since I've been on one. I was looking at the Raleigh Grand Prix or the Raleigh Grand Sport. There was also a Cannondale (not sure of the model) in the same price range. Which would be recommened by those who know? If this helps I live in New Hampshire with lots of mountains and BIG hills.
Thanks much

The current company known as Raleigh does not have the honor of the past. In that range I would recommend the Felt F70. It has a complete 105 shifting system instead of the Tiagra of the Grand Prix. It's beautiful so check it out: http://www.feltracing.com/2004_bikes/f70.html
