Hello fellow cycling enthusiasts and forum members.

Ive been riding a Trek MTB for about a 1.5 yrs working up to longer road distances. After riding 5 metric half centuries on the MTB bike I decided to take the plunge and get a road bike. I just took delivery of a 2010 Specialized Allez Sport Compact.

I used to ride in my 20's and loved it but work and family took over. I started cycling again for health reasons. Im 46 and a Clydesdale (6'4" / 240 lbs). I have significant arthritis in both knees and since Im not a knee replacement candidate yet cycling and swimming are my new passions.
