I must admit I'm having way too much fun playing with http://ridewithgps.com/. My daughter and I headed out this afternoon for a couple hour ride. We decided we wanted to do the climbing up front and have a fairly flat (for around here anyway) finish. Here's the route we ended up doing: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/73533. The initial climb was a bear, especially since it was in the sun most of the way and there was almost no wind...we both got very warm. The ride down the back side on the gravel was no problem...much easier than expected. The rest of the trip was great. An absolutely beautiful day here in the Shenandoah Valley.
