I am a 15 year old boy who wants to lose weight and be a more active person. I live in NYC and I want a fold up for easier traveling and storing. I want a good bike that is not too expensive, any suggestions would be appreciated!

P.S. Where could I buy a case for the said bike that it will be well protected yet not to bulky.

First of all, way to go on the active intentions! :thumb:

We will need to know what you think you want to spend, and how big & tall are you?

Used bikes on Craigslist? Downtubes, Dahons, should come in that budget. The Downtube Nova is on sale at $299, gets good reviews on here and there's an entire thread about it. My last Downtube came with a fabric carry case. If you want a hard case then somebody will be along in a minute to explain which one.

2009/2008 bikes are often available at closeout prices with 20-30% off. Used bikes crop up on here too, check out the For Sale thread at the top of the forum.
