Just wondering what's the weight limit of the spinergy rev x (front; original; x beams installed); NOS condition. I picked this up from ebay awhile ago as new old stock and I've been planning to ride with this. I would like to know the weight limit of this so I would know what to say to those awkward moments where bigger pals ask to try out my bike (I don't want a ugly wreck to happen). I'm pretty sure I'm within the weight limit at 165ish pounds; I just cant find any documentation for this wheel anymore.

Spinergy still have a FAQ on their site about them

165 is no problem for them.

Which model did you get? is it a late edition with the redesigned hub?

A friend of mines dad races and does time trials with a set of them, and I'm pretty sure he's about 160-165. So long as you're not hopping curbs and doing wheelies, I think you'll be alright.

It's the original no frills rev x with x beams outfitted; it appears to be with the original hub aswell (it has the older looking round blue decal with a red x)... Please note I have some very tall/ therefore heavy friends around 200+....
