Just started back cycling after a 20 year break. Bought a Motive highridge at a yard sale
about 2 and1/2 years ago, 15.00 dollars, well after probably 250.00 dollars in upgrading
parts and so fourth I had my bike, Short trips to the store everyday, 1 mile or so, sometimes
3 or 4 times a day with a back pack, four kids go though food fast (laugh)..Up graded my bike
to a nice Motobecane disk brakes, rack, more of a mountain bike with a hard tail though..Well
I was weighing 240 LBS at the beginning, after a couple years dropped to 180 LBS. All my friends were amazed, now I'm riding a Schwinn Trailways (long story), but love it, up to 40
miles at a time, mostly in the 15 to 20 mile range though, road and hard packed trails..I'm
no newbie to bike commuting though, from my early twenty's to late twenty's I commuted
to two jobs a day, worked at a LBS and a restaurant, I have seen my share of wind, rain, cold,
night time riding, (theres some stories). I'm 47 now and feel thirty again, so glad I stopped
at that yard sale, (Laugh).....Anyway Hello everyone! :thumb:
