I am looking at using Greenspeed 40-406 Scorchers on my Greenspeed GTO for touring on pavement/bitumen.

Any comments about their durability?

For touring on my "2-wheeler" I use Schwalbe Marathon.. tires.

No experience with the Scorchers. However lots of good experience with 40 and 47 - 406 Marathons on my bike friday and front of my recumbent.
