Hey I have my first single speed conversion it's a no name bike that I found on CL if its no to much trouble could you tell me ant enexpensive changes.
Bike: no name 40$ CL
Tires: LBS 20$
Tubes: LBS: 10$
SS cog: LBS 12$
I know its crappy but i like it.

That statement is an oxymoron.
The purpose of that bike is to make one person out of the entire universe (you) happy. Consequently, if you like it, it's doing it's job and it can't be crappy.

take a link or 2 out of that chain, read up on how to fit a bike- the saddle (seat) to handle bar slope is honestly painful to look at. add foot retention, remove reflectors, it is indeed crappy.

why is there tape wrapped around the lever?
because i am planning on putting my back break back on the tapes there just so it wont rattle
