There is a dedication ceremony planned for Thursday, June 3rd at the Cottonwood Trail Esplanade. it starts at 10am, yeah I know, not a good time for us working class folks. I'm taking that day off so I'll be there.
If you don't have plans then see if you can attend on your bike! The County has sent out "evites" to people they know but they're not doing a good job of promoting it so I put some details up on my site (http://www.bikingindallas.com/cottonwood-trail-esplanade-dedication/).
