The LBS called me last night to let me know that my bike is finally here. Unfortuneately I'm in classes untill 8 today and work all day tomorrow. So I'm going to have to wait untill tomorrow evening to get it. Waiting really sucks! Anyway I'll have it in time for the weekly club ride on saturday so it's all good. I plan on borrowing my sisters digital camera when I pick it up so I'll post pics.

if i were you.. i would have cut class and asked a buddy to take notes for me.. assuming that you're in college. or call in sick at work tomorrow morning and go back in to work during lunch time.. this way you can pick it up at 9am when the LBS opens and ride around for 2 hrs, before heading into work. pretty good plan eh?

I was actually thinking about cutting my stats class since it's boring and like 3 hours long. However I wanted to borrow my sisters digital camera before I go down there so I can take pictures before she has any miles. And I wasn't going to be able to get the camera untill tonight after the LBS closes anyway. I would call in sick but I already did that once this week :o
So tomorrow after work it is. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I get them onto my computer. And I've still got a couple weeks to breakt it in before the century I'm doing on the 19th.

Well I just picked it up tonight. I took some pics before I left the shop. And WOW this a very smooth bike. I put it on the scale and it weighs 19.46 pounds includig 2 bottle cages, pedals, and the computer. And yes I took that stupid sticker off the chain stay.

Why do you have that piece of luggage attached to your saddle? Plan on riding to the airport?

The brakes are just stamped Shimano. At first I thought they might be basic brakes however they look like Ultegra and the part number on the back is BR-600. Current Ultegra is BR-6500. Are these just older Ultegra brakes?
