I am buying my first 'serious' road bike and while cycling has never been my first love I want to get a fairly decent bike. I would like to do a few triathlons this summer (not ironman) and weekend rides. My budget is $1000-$1300. So far I have seen a Giant OCR1 2002 on sale for $950 it seems a pretty good deal anyone any experience with this bike. Also I have recently seen some Felt road bikes just on the market but don't know much about them. Another brand I've come across is a small Italian manufacturer called Scattante they have a decent aluminum bike with Ultegra components for $1400 but I've never heard of them.
