The Cross Vermont Trail Association (http://www.crossvermont.org) invites you to participate in the Central Vermont Cycling Tour to raise funds and support for the Cross Vermont Trail. Formerly known as the "VT Eco Tour", riders have a choice of 15, 30 and 60 mile rides on scenic gravel roads and trail walks at Morse Farm Maple Sugar Works.
The long ride (60 miles) starts at 9AM. This ride is 92% gravel/dirt, has well over 6,000' of climbing, and 3 feed stations.
The medium ride (32 miles) starts at 10AM. This ride is 85% gravel/dirt, has well over 3,000' of climbing, and 3 feed stations.
The short ride (15 miles) starts at 10AM. This ride is 75% gravel/dirt, is more appropriate for families with kids (no long climbs or descents), and 1 feed station.
Registration includes great local food at a post-ride buffet, convenient feed stations/rest stops, and well-marked courses.
Registration fees: $100 (family), $60 (individual) and $30 (junior) with a 20% discounts on registration before June 20, 2010. Children 12 or under ride for free. Venue opens at 7:30 AM. Registration is open online or by mail.
