I figure this is relevant since it happened to me on Saturday and I'd like to learn from my mistakes.

Event: 10 turn/lap extremely technical crit, going in to the finish are 2 back to back turns that you can't pedal through and must slow to ~16 mph to not curb it on the other side, finish is ~200m on the other side of these back to back turns.

Situation: You've got a solid lead, break of 4, but you've got a teammate and the other two are solo. You and your teammate are strong.

... 20 minutes until the finish, how do you play this out so you get 1 and 2?

get the two teammates together in the rotation. when one of the teammates gets to the front, he attacks. one non-teammate just finished his pull and is tired, and the other non teammate is at the back and so has to make a real move to catch the attacker, plus he has only rested one turn. If you do this going into the tech portion, then he can get an even larger gap because no one can really get around the second teammate in those corners. Should be super easy to get first. The second teammate sits on until the finish and comes around in the sprint, or attacks as he is quite rested.

Kinda easy actually. Especially if you are strong.
