Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Mine are doubled because I'm cool like dat.
And FYI I did that a lot with my car, but backwards. I would do a J-turn into a parking spot. Seriously. Never hit any of the cars I was in between either. And now that I think of it, that was pretty risky.

With parking like that, she's going to grow up to be a Blues Brother.

Is Elwood really the best role model for a child that age?

Why not? He hasn't been pulled over in 6 months.

I used to park my Harley that way, but I know better than to even try it with my bicycles!

So, she can:
1) Drift with training wheels on
+
2) Has a great enough sense of balance to not tip the bike over in the process
=
She doesn't need training wheels.
Unless it isn't her bike and she is just borrowing it to demonstrate, like when I used to take my sister's pink Huffy with a banana seat because it was balanced so that I could do endless wheelies down the street, but on my own bike I couldn't do one for more than 10 feet...and I liked to ride her bike. It was a lot more comfy. And pink. I begged her to play Barbies with me, too.
I used to do that on a bike with coaster brake, w/o the training wheels when I was a kid.
Of course, I used to do a lot of things as a child that would land me in the ER/morgue as an adult...
