Guys,

I just replaced my old Look pedals with new ones. The new ones have adjustable release, via a knob on th back that you twist.

The right one tightens up pretty well, but I can't tighten the left one enough. Is there a trick (other than turning the knob)?

Thanks!

The yellow knob adjusts the float. For tension, there's an allen bolt that you can tighten on the top surface of the pedal, just before the clasp that grips the raer of the cleat.

I checked - I couldn't find a screw or bolt ANYWHERE to tighten. And, according to the instructions (yeah, I actually read 'em), the twist knob on the back does adjust the release tension. It seems to work fine on the right one. I think the left one is defective.
