Hi, everyone. I found this site while browsing a local bike website and decided to join. I am not an elite cyclist by any means, but I've been riding for almost twelve years and love it. I'm 48 years old, overweight despite regular cycling ventures and gym visits (my metabolism went on permanent vacation when I quit smoking) and ride a patched-together 1985 Schwinn that the local titanium big-shots laugh at. Let 'em laugh, my ride has outlasted ten years of hard road mileage, one (minor) crash and one marriage. :p I ride roads and trails, average distance 20 miles @14-16 mph.
